A Hamilton man who fell off a motorbike while fleeing police has been arrested.
Police said the motorcyclist fled from police in the eastern area of Hamilton City at about 7pm tonight, but he failed to negotiate a corner in the area and fell off the bike.
He has suffered no injuries as a result of the fall.
Hamilton police said he will be facing a number of charges, with further enquires continuing into the ownership of the motor cycle.
Earlier today, a motorcyclist was killed while fleeing police in the Christchurch suburb of New Brighton.
