KEY POINTS:
A second man will appear in court today charged with murdering convicted paedophile Glen Donald Stinson.
The 46-year-old man Palmerston North man was arrested in Woodville yesterday and will appear in Palmerston North District Court today.
He is third person to be charged since the body of Stinson was found with severe head injuries in the driveway of a Wylie Rd property in rural Foxton on July 28.
Concrete worker Aubrey Thomas Harrison, 27, appeared in court on Friday charged with murder and indicated he would plead not guilty.
A 31-year-old woman, whose name is suppressed, was last week charged with kidnapping and assaulting Stinson with intent to injure.
Both have been remanded in custody.
Stinson, 57, was on bail facing three charges of indecent assault and one of attempted rape on a girl under the age of 12.
He had several previous convictions for sex offending on young girls.
Inspector Mark Harrison, of Palmerston North, said yesterday police were still trying to trace the movements of a brown Holden Vectra car with the registration number XA6691.
The car, belonging to Aubrey Harrison, was found in Waikato.
Police investigations have centred around an Andrew Ave property in Palmerston North, where Stinson was believed to have been the night before his body was found.
