A second man has been arrested for a "bloodied" incident which saw six people stabbed in a West Auckland home.
The 29-year-old man was arrested today soon after his release from hospital.
He will appear in Waitakere District Court today on three charges, including wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
The charge carries a maximum penalty of 14 years imprisonment.
Kai Meng Peng, 56, appeared in Waitakere District Court yesterday charged with assault for his alleged role in the stabbing.
He was remanded in custody until Dcember 29.
Emergency services found six people with serious stab wounds after being called to the house on Kingdale Rd, Henderson on Saturday night.
Three were admitted to Auckland Hospital and three to North Shore Hospital.
Two people whose condition was previously listed as life threatening have now been transferred to Middlemore Hospital in a stable condition for specialist plastic surgery.
Another two adults are expected to be discharged later today.
Police are still investigating and are yet to interview all the injured people
