The second man accused of stealing 96 medals from the Waiouru Army Museum in 2007 has admitted his role in the burglary.
The man who has name suppression, pleaded guilty to one charge of burglary in the Auckland District Court today.
His lawyer Jeremy Bioletti says his client is apologetic.
"The only reason he got involved in the situation, was that he was concerned that those medals would get lost, or someone would destroy them or something like that."
The man has been remanded for sentencing on August 26.
His accomplice, Ronald van Wakeren, pleaded guilty to burglary in September last year.
