KEY POINTS:
The second last rotation of 3 Squadron staff to serve in East Timor will return to New Zealand tomorrow.
During their three months in East Timor the squadron members flew 192 hours moving personnel, providing air support and conducting two medical evacuations.
The handover to their replacement 3 Squadron contingent was completed this week.
The final rotation will withdraw all personnel and the two Iroquois helicopters when the mission closes in October.
Air Component Commander Air Commodore Gavin Howse said he was pleased with what the team had achieved in East Timor.
The contingent will arrive at Ohakea tomorrow.
