Second crash near Huntly claims another life

One person is dead and three injured after a two car smash this morning on State Highway One at Huntly.

Sergeant Christopher Money said police closed the road at 6am and a detour was in place. It was anticipated the road would reopen at 9am.

The death came after a passenger died in a crash in Huntly's Rotowairo Rd  at about 6pm last night.
