Second consecutive fatal-free weekend

There have been no deaths on New Zealand's roads for the second consecutive weekend.

This follows last weekend's zero death Queen's Birthday holiday, the first since statistics began being collated in 1956.

So far this year there have been 122 deaths on the roads, compared with 189 this time last year.
