Police search and rescue teams today found the body of a second crewman of the Piper Seneca that crashed high up on Mt Taranaki yesterday morning.
Searchers found the wreckage and the body of the first occupant of the plane at about 7pm yesterday.
The two men killed were this morning named as Wayne Stratford, 41, and John Hoskin, 63, both from Nelson.
They were in a Piper Seneca, registered to the Nelson-based Flight Corporation Ltd, en route from New Plymouth to Nelson when radar contact was lost at 9.55am at an altitude of 2430m.
