Police have made a second arrest after a gang-related shooting in Wairoa on Sunday.
Terrence Whetumoana Tahuri, 19, was remanded in custody when he appeared in Gisborne District Court today charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm with a firearm, and unlawfully possessing a firearm.
Tahuri will reappear in court on Monday when bail will be considered.
Police allege Tahuri, a Black Power member, shot his Mongrel Mob neighbour who was admitted to Hawke's Bay Hospital in a serious condition.
