Levin Police have arrested a man in connection to a stabbing south of the town two days ago.
Detective Sergeant Sarn Paroli said that a 23-year-old local man contacted police today. He has been arrested and is appearing in the Levin District Court this afternoon charged with grievous bodily harm.
The victim, a 34-year-old Foxton man, is now out of intensive care and is in a serious condition in Palmerston North Hospital.
A 41-year-old Levin woman appeared in the Levin District Court on Wednesday charged with assault and has been remanded in custody until July 19.
