Search still on for missing fisherman

A second day of searching for a fisherman washed off rocks in the Manukau Harbour has proved fruitless for the Manukau Coastguard.

The man was wearing waders when he and another person were washed off the Ninepin Rock at Whatipu about 10am on Saturday. One was rescued by bystanders but the other was washed away and disappeared.
