Search teams will be back out this morning looking for a fishing vessel which is missing off the coast of Fiordland.
A life raft has been found and a fuel slick has been seen a few kilometres from the mouth of Milford Sound.
Two people are known to have been on board the fishing boat, and three other boats have been searching all night.
Two helicopters gave up their efforts last night because of the weather, but a Coastguard plane from Invercargill will be joining the search this morning.
