Police are seeking public help to find a 16-year-old who has not been seen since he left his Casebrook home in Christchurch's northern suburbs over a week ago.
Senior Constable Malcolm McIntyre said Joshua Green had no means of supporting himself and had not been seen or heard from by family and friends since April 28.
He is described as European, of medium build, with short, dark hair. He was thought to be wearing jeans and a hoodie, the colour of which is unknown.
"His disappearance is a bit of a concern as he doesn't have money, bank accounts, a phone or access to a vehicle," Mr McIntyre said.
Joshua was known to meet up with other young people in skate parks, Northlands Mall, other shopping areas, and the central city.
Anyone with any information about where he might be is asked to call police.
