The ongoing search for missing woman Kim Bambus has been suspended for the evening.
The 21-year-old disappeared on Friday morning after telling friends she was going for a run at Piha Beach in West Auckland.
When she didn't return her friends drove to the beach, where they found her car, with cellphone still inside, parked at the entrance to Ahu Ahu Track (Mercer Bay loop track).
Police and volunteers have been scouring the area for four days, including the track which runs along the cliff faces above Piha.
Detective Inspector Hayden Mander of the Waitemata Police said inflatable surf lifesaving boats and the Police Eagle Helicopter had conducted further aerial sweeps of the coastline this afternoon, but there had been no sign of Bambus.
