A search operation is underway for a hunter missing in the bush in Fiordland National Park for more than 24 hours.
Police said a search-and-rescue operation was launched for the 69-year-old who was reported missing this morning.
About 10.40am the man's hunting partner reported him missing, saying they had been separated and had not seen the missing man since yesterday morning.
Three two-person search-and-rescue teams have arrived on scene.
