The search for an 18-year-old whose boat flipped off the coast of New Plymouth about a week ago has resumed this morning.
Matt Smith went missing near Paritutu Rock on Monday. His friend survived after swimming two hours to shore.
Thirty-five police and Land Search and Rescue volunteers from Whanganui and Taranaki are again searching the coast today.
