Search continues for missing tourist

The search is continuing for a German tourist who is missing in the Abel Tasman National Park.

Thirty-three year-old Marcel Schuppenhauer stayed at Bark Bay Hut on the Abel Tasman Track on March 21 but failed to reach Takaka at the beginning of the week as expected.

Anyone who knows what has happened to him is being asked to contact their nearest police station.
