Police are continuing their search for a Lower Hutt man who has not been seen by his family for three weeks.
Timothy Potangaroa, 37, known as Timmy, was reported missing on Friday by his family.
The last confirmed sighting of him was September 6 and though Mr Potangaroa had done this kind of thing before, he usually let someone know, Detective Sergeant James Patea said.
"If he has had to go away for whatever reason, we are urging him to get in contact with us or his family," Mr Patea said.
Mr Potangaroa was described as Maori, about 185cm tall, of medium build with long black hair, possibly tied in a ponytail. He is known to normally wear shorts or trackpants, tee shirts and a hooded sweatshirt.
Bank account transactions show that Mr Potangaroa's ATM card was used in the Wellington area as recently as last Thursday.
