A Seacliff man has been charged with murder after the death of his neighbour who died from a single gunshot to the head.
The 59-year-old man at the centre of the investigation was found in Truby King Reserve at Seacliff, near Dunedin, with serious gunshot wounds on March 8.
The body of Sharon Diane Comerford (54) was found at her Coast Rd home later that day.
The man appeared before a judge yesterday at a bedside hearing at Dunedin Hospital, where has been in a serious condition since the incident.
