Three fire crews and a helicopter have extinguished a bushfire in a remote part of the Waitakere Ranges, near Tunnel Point this evening.
A spokesman for Fire and Emergency New Zealand said the blaze was approximately 100 metres by 20 metres in size.
He said FENZ was intitially called to
the incident around 7.20pm but it had since been fully extinguished.
