Women's magazines are expected to go into a bidding war for interviews with Anna Macdonald and Kylee Guy, who could be offered thousands of dollars for an exclusive.
One public relations expert says each of the women could be offered anything up to $15,000, but figures of up to $50,000 were being mentioned in some media circles.
The Guy family are being represented by Wellington public relations company Silvereye Communications, which has former All Black Jonah Lomu, NZ Post and ACC among its clients.
But it is understood Anna and Kylee are not likely to be swayed by money, and Scott's father Bryan Guy yesterday asked for privacy.
A PR expert, who did not want to be named, told the Herald: "The case has galvanised the entire nation ... and New Zealanders will be very interested in hearing how each of them [Anna and Kylee] are.
