The man accused of murdering Scott Guy will stand trial next June.
Ewen Macdonald, Scott Guy's brother-in-law, has just appeared in the High Court in Palmerston North.
He'll defend the murder charge against him when his trial starts on June 5 next year.
Mr Guy, 31, was shot dead in the driveway of his Aorangi Road, Feilding, home on July 8 last year.
Macdonald, 30, is married to Mr Guy's sister Anna MacDonald and first appeared in court on April 8, nine months after the murder.
