A judge in the High Court at Wellington has reserved his decision on whether the trial of the man accused of murdering Feilding dairy farmer Scott Guy should be moved from Palmerston North.
Mr Guy, 31, was gunned down in the driveway of his rural home in the early hours of July 8 last year as he set out to do the milking.
His brother-in-law, Ewen Kerry Macdonald, 32, was arrested in April this year, after an intensive nine-month police investigation.
Justice Simon France suppressed all details of today's (Tuesday) pre-trial hearing of the application for a change of venue and inadmissibility of some evidence.
The trial had been set down for several weeks mid-next year. Macdonald, who married Mr Guy's sister Anna more than 10 years ago, remains in custody. They have four young children.
