The murder of Manawatu farmer Scott Guy will feature on a popular television crime show this week as police try to elicit information any way they can.
Mr Guy was shot dead as he left his Aorangi Road, Feilding, home early to milk the cows on the nearby family farm on July 8.
The case is to screen on Police Ten-7 this Thursday.
Viewers will be asked to come forward with any information that might be relevant to Mr Guy's death.
The programme will also reiterate specific appeals relating to three chocolate labrador puppies taken from the farm property, two vehicles seen on Aorangi Road on the morning of the murder, and the shotgun used to kill Mr Guy, which has not yet been recovered.
"It's always been a consideration to use Police Ten-7 as another means of eliciting information," investigation head Detective Inspector Sue Schwalger said.
"It is a different audience and demographic to other media and with any investigation you look at ways you can reach different audiences,"
