A Masterton pharmacy has put a mobility scooter up as a prize in a fundraiser for Wairarapa Hospice.
Pharmacist Simon Ogden said the $3599 Horizon scooter was being raffled at $5 a ticket in the fundraiser, which was launched this week and runs throughout the month.
He said The Chemists in Queen St and Duncan's Pharmacy at Kuripuni enjoyed a close working relationship with Hospice Wairarapa, which relies solely on charity, grants and donations.
"We do quite a bit of work for the palliative care team and seeing as how most of them are volunteers, this is a way of helping give something back."
The raffle will be drawn on July 1. Tickets are available at The Chemists in Queen St and Duncan's Pharmacy at Kuripuni.
