Police have ruled out the possibility that missing Christchurch schoolgirl Marie Davis ran away, and have conceded for the first time their search could drag on for years without a breakthrough.
The 15-year-old has been missing for 11 days and police are desperate for the one crucial call or discovery that will lead them to her. "Everyone is highly motivated. [Marie] is a person that we all are terribly concerned about," said Detective Senior Sergeant Virginia Le Bas.
