Schoolgirl hit on Auckland pedestrian crossing

A child has been hit on a pedestrian crossing south of Auckland.

Emergency services were responding to the incident on Beach Road in Papakura, Newstalk ZB reported.

St John Ambulance said the girl had moderate injuries.'
