Lakeview School pupils celebrated New Zealand Music Month by belting out classic Kiwi tunes at a special assembly.
Each syndicate performed songs on Friday from artists such as The Swingers, Dave Dobbyn, Split Enz, Bic Runga and The Mutton Birds.
Particularly popular was the Year 7 and 8 pupils' performance of Poi E, complete with choreography inspired by Taika Waititi's Boy.
Itinerant music teacher Sam Tanner and his bandmates performed songs from his EP Liquid Life, which went to No5 on the New Zealand singer/songwriter charts last year.
