KEY POINTS:
A Hamilton high school rugby match abandoned by the referee with 10 minutes to play is at the centre of claims of threats of stabbing and undue physical behaviour.
The Waikato Rugby Union (WRU) is investigating the under-15 match between Fraser High School and St Paul's Collegiate at the weekend, the Waikato Times reported.
A Fraser player is said to have threatened to knife the opposition.
Fraser principal Martin Elliott said two boys had been suspended from playing sport for the school for the rest of the year because of their "abusive language and undue physical behaviour" during the game.
The threat to kill was made by one of the boys.
WRU complaints review officer Tony Gemmell is to decide if the incident will go to a judicial hearing.
