School broadband costs

The Government will cover the costs associated with linking schools directly with ultra-fast broadband networks on nearby streets.

Schools previously connecting to fibre were initially required to contribute to the "fibre drop" cost, which in some cases amounted to thousands of dollars, and varied between schools according to their locations.
