The country's best known prostitute has removed her son from his Hamilton school amid claims of discrimination because of her job.
Lisa Lewis, who first made headlines in 2006 when she ran bikini-clad across Waikato Stadium during an All Blacks test, has taken the 5-year-old out of Te Totara Primary.
She claimed the boy, who has a history of health problems after suffering a stroke aged 10 months, was repeatedly left alone in "time out" for long periods.
But the school said the allegations were investigated and found to be false.
Lewis, who became New Zealand's first naked newsreader, said her son was left alone in the school hall for an hour and, on another occasion, in a classroom for 20 minutes.
She also claims other parents at the school circulated a petition aiming to have her son removed. "I don't turn up for school dressed like I am on K Rd," she said.
Board chairman Kevin King said the complaints were fully investigated by the school and no evidence of discrimination or a petition were found.
Lewis has enrolled her son in another Hamilton primary school.
