An online scammer has been posing as a photographer for New Zealand magazines.
The man has been trying to get women to send him nude snaps.
The magazine, NZV8, has revealed the scam by posting a screenshot of a conversation the man had with one potential victim. The victim then got in touch with the magazine to check the scammer's story.
The man offered modelling work and asked for topless or full nude photographs, promising they were copyright and wouldn't be seen by anyone else.
He even offered to pay airfares and food for the woman to go to Australia and be photographed by him there.
