• Fake "scratch and win" tickets are still circulating. Many come from a company called Abadi Holiday. The tickets tell people they have won and must get in touch with the company to claim their prize. But then they are asked to pay to receive their winnings.
• On Facebook, offers of pedigree puppies for sale for a very cheap price, or even free to a good home, are fake.
• Many Facebook groups are also being targeted with offers of lucrative work or no-strings loans. Both should be ignored. Some ask people to pay in order to find out more.
• An email from Bob Diamond that offers a $10,000 loan on a 3 per cent interest rate is also a scam.
