KEY POINTS:
Three Saudi Arabian students who went missing in the Catlins bush yesterday have been found safe and well, Dunedin police say.
The students, all aged in their early 20s from Otago University, were part of a 32-strong group from the university's Saudi Club, the Otago Daily Times reported.
They had arrived at the Tautuku Outdoor Education Centre on Monday.
Constable Murray Hewitson of Owaka police said the trio - two medical students and a language student - set off for a walk before breakfast yesterday and failed to return.
Sergeant Ed Baker of Dunedin police told NZPA after an intensive search by rescue workers and a police dog, they were all found last night "safe and sound".
