KEY POINTS:
The Government has welcomed the arrival of about 200 Saudi Arabian students who will study here under a Saudi Government-sponsored programme.
There were 1782 students from Saudi Arabia studying here last year, most studying English.
All students in this programme have been vetted by Saudi and New Zealand authorities.
