As one of the navy's newest sailors, she is pleased with her progress. .
"Training was very hard but rewarding, and I like that I have become more self-reliant," said Ms Campbell. "I really enjoy the physical training, the training and the lifestyle.
"I have enjoyed meeting new people, and have some good friendships already.
"The navy will be a great way to travel the world. I am proud of who I am, and proud of representing my country," she said.
The navy training included an intense level of physical training, precision marching and parade training and an academic programme covering naval history, discipline, core values and maritime skills.
The Stoker First Class William Dale Cup is awarded to the most improved trainee during basic common training. William Dale was involved in the rescue of shipmates from a fire on board HMNZS Achilles in 1943.
Dale was awarded the Albert Medal for his bravery, the only person to receive it in WWII.
