Police are concerned for the safety of Lower Hutt man missing since yesterday.
The man was reported overdue at about 7.30pm after not returning home from a motorbike ride.
He left his home at 12.30pm yesterday to ride his green Kawasaki KLX 400R motorcycle in the bush area north of Upper Hutt, police said.
The man might have entered Totara Park, but police had not confirmed this.
Police said he was alone and was not believed to have met up with other riders.
The man is Caucasian of average height and solid build with brown hair, a goatee and a moustache. He was last seen wearing jeans, a thick hooded sweatshirt.
He had a grey and black bike jacket and may have been carrying a backpack.
Family members expected his return at about 4.30pm.
