KEY POINTS:
Lyndell du Toit will be deported to South Africa with her children on Monday, at the end of her prison term for stealing public donations given so that her young daughter can have surgery.
Christchurch District Court Judge Jane Farish today made arrangements for the money that was still available to be brought together in a trust account for Charley du Toit.
Charley had her foot bitten off in a dog attack in South Africa and the family came to New Zealand so that further surgery could be done after the foot was reattached.
Public donations and fund-raising brought in about $20,000 but du Toit, 31, a mother of three, pleaded guilty to stealing most of it.
She was jailed for six months in February and will be deported to South Africa under a removal order.
During the sentencing process, she claimed that the money had been invested but was unable to provide proof for the court.
Her family in South Africa provided $11,300 as reparations which has been held in a Christchurch law firm's trust account.
At a reparation hearing today, Du Toit said she was happy for the money to remain in that account until it was required for Charley's treatment back in South Africa.
Judge Farish made a series of orders consolidating funds held in other places into the same account.
A Christchurch community newspaper is holding $1050 for the appeal, $5800 from a charity ball and auctions are being held by a private hospital, and there is still $1900 remaining in the appeal bank account arranged by du Toit.
