The standoff between Australian news organisations and the International Rugby Board over Rugby World Cup reporting rules remains.
The Newspaper Publishers' Association, which represents Fairfax Australia and Rupert Murdoch's News Ltd, maintained they reject the board's accreditation terms and will not be sending accredited journalists to New Zealand.
"I have not spoken to the IRB and they have made no attempt to contact me," said Mark Hollands, the association's chief executive.
IRB chief executive Mike Miller said on Monday night that world rugby's governing body would not give in to their demands.
"Those broadcasters are trying to commercialise the video ... and match day footage, and we can't allow that to happen," he said. "Anyone tuning into the Rugby World Cup can see every game live, and good quality replays and highlights online."
