It has played host to the stars of two of the country's most popular television shows, and now an Auckland mansion is yours during the Rugby World Cup - for up to $50,000 a week.
Playboy millionaire Seeby Woodhouse hopes to get near that figure for his $8 million Casa Del Mar - "home by the sea" - in Castor Bay.
The 1000sq m mansion has been used to film the hugely successful reality television programmes MasterChef and New Zealand's Next Top Model, hosted by Sara Tetro.
It is on the market for $8.8m and is rated at $7.5m.
"I've definitely been looking at renting the whole place. We've been investigating options," said the Orcon founder.
He had heard of similar properties on Waiheke Island going for up to $50,000 and was basing his predictions on that.
"I'm not necessarily asking that much but from similar investigation that's potentially the level."
Woodhouse said he was usually overseas for the winter so it was no problem to rent the place out. The home can be configured to accommodate nine bedrooms. It has five kitchens, three living rooms, a library, conference room, beauty therapy room and office.
Outdoors are large entertainment areas and a half Olympic-size swimming pool.
"It's a big place. It's basically a mini boutique private hotel.
"I think it would be good for a corporate - there's obviously people who are coming down. We're talking to a few people already, corporates who are bringing a number of staff over."
Woodhouse's business manager Karen Morfett said: "We've got some very strong interest, particularly in the film and television industry."
She would not reveal if the people interested were businessmen, celebrities or royalty but said famous people who came for the World Cup would require high-end accommodation.
She knew of other luxury homes around the $30,000 mark and said people likely to pay that much were used to extras that would bump the price to the $50,000 mark.
"They expect to have an entourage of a maid, concierge, the use of a limo, helicopter and a chef as well."
