A cross-dressing man has been given a formal police warning after running around a park in women's underwear.
The Herald on Sunday understands the Korean man was caught on camera several times stripping down to a bra and knickers before running around Auckland's Albert Park at 3am on a Friday.
Police received a call the following day about the man's strange behaviour, which was captured on Auckland Art Gallery's CCTV cameras.
The gallery refused to release the images. Auckland police spokeswoman Noreen Hegarty said the man was cautioned for offensive behaviour.
"It is not illegal to wear underwear in public but some behaviour may be deemed offensive," Hegarty said.
