"They've [the car] jumped the kerb, gone across the neighbour's front lawn, through the fence and into the corner of our house," Mr Casey said.
Those in the car had also attempted to drive off, he said.
"According to the neighbours, [it looked like] they had an argument about what they were going to do and some witnesses have said they were possibly walking up and down the street maybe in a bit of a panic."
He said the road was a dead-end street and nothing like this had happened in the four years the couple had lived there with their two young daughters.
Immediate repairs to the house were carried out yesterday. Mr Casey said further assessment around other work required was under way.
