People should have a better idea of what went wrong on the opening night of the Rugby World Cup when a report's released today.
Opening night was marred for some by transport problems, overcrowding and pockets of violence in central Auckland.
The Auckland Council is releasing a 250 page report into the Rugby World Cup at midday.
It will include research findings on the success of the tournament in Auckland, as well as summaries of all aspects of the city's hosting role.
There will be an update in April, on the economic impact and other areas that take longer to research.
