Rugby World Cup deals popular

Overseas fans have been quick to secure package deals for next year's Rugby World Cup matches, with a pool match double-header in Christchurch proving a big drawcard.

Packages including the first match tickets went on sale from Friday at two official outlets, Seasonz Travel and House of Travel.

Seasonz Travel director Matthew Lines said fans and tour groups from South Africa, Australia, and Britain were among those first off the mark. Individual tickets go on sale later this year.
