KEY POINTS:
Fullback Tricia Brown says the Wallaroos have not only recovered from their mid-week belting by New Zealand, they are ready to take down the Black Ferns in tomorrow's second women's rugby test in Canberra.
Australia's women's rugby team has never defeated the reigning World Cup holders in their nine encounters dating back to 1994.
But Brown says the Wallaroos believe they can rebound from Tuesday night's 37-3 belting with an unlikely victory in the second Test at Viking Park.
"We have the team to put it to them and I think we can beat them," Brown said.
"We are a good shot tomorrow and it will be a closer match.
"Let's put it this way, if we came out on top I would not be that surprised."
The custodian, who scored a hat-trick on debut at the 2006 World Cup in Canada against South Africa, said there had been a growing belief within the Wallaroos that they could compete with the best in the world.
Australia received a boost today with centre Sharni Williams and second rower Dalena Dennison cleared to play tomorrow after overcoming injury concerns.
Dennison is viewed as a key to Australia lifting their lineout performance against the Black Ferns.
"We have to improve the success of our lineout," said Wallaroos coach Steve Hamson.
"We won only four of 18 from our own throw, that's pretty terrible."
