The Rugby World Cup will be broadcast on United States network television for the first time after the International Rugby Board announced NBC had secured rights to the 2011 and 2015 events.
The deal, announced by IRB chief executive Mike Miller, will see television and digital media coverage of all 48 matches in the US.
