A teenager collapsed after a rugby match in South Auckland this afternoon.
A St John Ambulance spokeswoman said they were called to Aorere Park in Mangere East shortly before 1pm.
The teen was a playing in a women's premier development fixture and had collapsed as a result of low blood sugar, Auckland Rugby Union communications manager Libby Boggs said.
She added that the Manukau Rovers player was diabetic and had collapsed post-match.
The teenager was taken to Middlemore Hospital in a moderate condition.
