The Returned Services' Association will award its highest honour to 21 members of the New Zealand armed forces who have won the Victoria Cross.
The RSA said yesterday the Badge in Gold would be posthumously awarded to the VC winners.
The RSA will also present the Badge in Gold and life membership to recent VC winner Corporal Willie Apiata.
Governor-General Anand Satyanand will unveil the badge for the dead awardees and present the badge to Corporal Apiata on Armistice Day on Sunday.
