A defended hearing for a Rotorua mother and daughter charged with assault after an alleged scuffle with Countdown Rotorua staff has been adjourned until next week.
Eve Margaret Campbell, 50, unemployed, and Cherylly Juanita Campbell, aka Tapsell, 30, fruit picker, who is heavily pregnant, appeared before Judge Ian Thomas in the Rotorua District Court today (Wed).
He adjourned the hearing until March 16 after an application by police prosecutor Richard van Aren Donk.
Eve Campbell is already on bail but Judge Thomas today granted Cherylly Campbell bail.
One of her bail conditions is not to go to Countdown Rotorua.
