Firefighters have put out a fire that broke out in a Rotorua central city building early today.
They were called to Amohau Street at 3.55am and found the fourth floor fire well alight.
It appeared to have started in the air conditioning unit and was contained in the air ducts, a fire communications spokesperson said.
The building was believed to have been empty at the time and no injuries were reported.
